Executive, Leadership and Team Performance Coaching

Coaching is a targeted 'real-time' approach based on laser straight feedback and action learning for individuals and teams. There is an edge to coaching that does not exist in consulting. Coaching is far more personal and broader in scope and addresses all aspects of a person's life which impact their ability to lead. Individuals and teams work with a Coach to accelerate performance, make transitions, and recover leaders who have begun to derail. Coaching is always confidential.

Meeting Design & Facilitation

Most of our lives seem to be spent in meetings and there is a genuine and growing concern about the actual return on investment in terms of the results produced. Productive meetings result from clearly identifying the outcomes, and designing the meeting experience to create a common understanding and alignment. Participants experience a higher degree of satisfaction and increased performance when the meeting decisions are clear and actionable, and the results are communicated out appropriately. Each meeting calls for a diagnostic approach to the design of the agenda, the activities and next steps. Facilitation approaches necessarily range from flexible to 'pure' facilitation to 'advocacy for the best thinking of the organization'. Successful meeting design makes the difficult seem easy!

Organizational Diagnosis & Development

Simply stated, the purpose of Organizational Development (OD) is to improve the performance of groups and teams by aligning strategy and actions, organizational design, team performance, culture change and implementation, organizational and group feedback with the existing systems of the organization. Good OD begins with a clear agreement with the client on the outcomes and a high quality diagnosis of the issues prior to embarking on an intervention or solution.

The solutions may include the following:

Individual and Organizational Assessments including 360 Degree or Skip-level Feedback, Work Style or Preference Inventories, Interviews, Focus Groups and Organizational Surveys

New Manager Assimilation

When a new manager accepts an appointment to head an existing team, there is often a period of uncertainty and instability that occurs with the change. The 1-day program outcomes include:

Provide a safe structure for early manager / group interactions

Raise, clarify and resolve critical issues

Allow the new manager to determine group concerns and needs and to allow the manager to choose to respond or not as appropriate

'Short-cut' weeks to months of circling behavior by opening up clear, forthright communication
